How to Apply
Many of our programs fill up quickly, so apply early. Here’s how:

You can have one active application with up to two choices at a time. Review admission requirement
- Review tuition, program costs and fees
Amounts are set each spring for the following September.

APPLYING FROM SECONDARY SCHOOL?
The general entry requirements for the ND programmes are:
- Post Secondary School Leavers with 5 Credits level passes in SSCE or equivalent, who are desirous of acquiring relevant employable skills
- Unemployed or under-employed graduates looking for requisite employable skills
iii. Employed graduates who desire relevant or additional working skills
- Those out of school for a long time, in line with Government desire for open access to re-skilling and up-skilling of the nation’s workforce as part of Life Long Learning (LLL)
- Post NVC Final (articulation from the VEIs
APPLYING AS A MATURE STUDENT?
- Four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- GPA of 2.5 on a 4-point scale
- Letter of intent (no more than 350 words)
- Two letters from professional or academic referees.
WHEN TO APPLY FOR FULL-TIME PROGRAMS
Apply by January 1st to meet the equal consideration deadline for programs starting in the upcoming academic year. Applications from qualified applicants received by February 1 and earlier receive equal consideration in application processing. This is important especially for highly competitive programs. Applications received after June 1 are processed on a first come, first-served basis (until programs are full).
HOW TO APPLY FOR full time and part-time COURSES OR CERTIFICATES programs
For most courses, a student must be 19 years of age or have an OSSD. Some courses and certificate programs include additional requirements which are listed in the courses or certificate description. You can apply online, by phone or in person.
STEP 1: BEGIN YOUR APPLICATION PROCESS
Begin your application process by reviewing program information, admission requirements and any potential program registration requirements. If you possess the appropriate admission requirements (or will possess them upon graduation) for the program(s) of your choice, proceed through the information that follows. Applications will be equally considered if received on or before February 1st. Any application after this date will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. This is important for over-subscribed (highly popular) programs where more applications are received than there is space available.
BACOTAT accepts applications for admission up to the 10th day of class for a semester as long as there are seats available in the program for the semester
STEP 2: PAY THE APPLICATION FEE
Pay the 2500.00 Naira (non-refundable) application fee to bacotat.education. Payment options include credit card, online banking, check .
STEP 3: SUBMIT YOUR TRANSCRIPTS
If you are a current Secondary school student, submit your grades to bacotat.education electronically.
If you are not currently attending secondary school, you must send official copies of your transcripts through email@example.com
STEP 4: BCOTAT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
BACOTAT will acknowledge that your application has been received using the email address you provided on your application form. If changes are necessary to your name, address, program or start date after submission of the application, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
STEP 5: RECEIVE YOUR ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE
BACOTAT will advise you via email if you have been accepted to the BACOTAT program(s) of your choice. You will also receive an offer package by mail.
STEP 6: CONFIRM YOUR OFFER
Confirm your offer of acceptance on the bacotat.education website by the confirmation deadline. While it is possible to receive acceptances to all of your choices, you are only permitted to accept one program offer per academic year.
If changes are necessary to your name, email or mailing address, program or start date after you have confirmed your offer, contact the Office of the Admissions Office.
When making a payment, have your student ID # ready. If paying by credit card, we accept Visa and MasterCard
- Online– Use the MYBACOTAT “Make a Payment” service and pay by credit card.
- In Person– Stop by BACOTAT campus and pay using cash, debit card, personal check, or credit card.
